Thank you girls. It really was fun. :)

He And Me + 3, here is my favorite green smoothie recipe:

I use about a third of a bag of frozen berry mix (I live in Iowa, so a lot of frozen fruit around here right now. Can't wait for summer and farmers' markets!). It's called cherry berry blend (cherries, blueberries, blackberries, strawberries, raspberries).

Then add fresh pineapple (I've also used frozen and even canned)

A banana or two

A couple large handfuls of spinach (about 2 cups). . .or as much spinach as you can handle. The more the healthier!

I put in the berries, pineapple and bananas and fill the blender about a third or half way up with water. (I have a very basic blender, so if I don't do this, everything will get stuck!)

When that is blended, I then add the spinach and blend.

And if I don't freeze them, I add some crushed ice to the blender because I like them cold! :)

Other ingredients I've used in the past: apples, tropical fruit mix, lemons, limes, celery (start with half a stalk because it really adds a strong flavor!) and kale (too bitter for these tastebuds). :)

Use whatever you want, play around. They're so good and are MAJOR energy boosters! I credit the spinach for that! :)

Oh, and my son LOVES these!!!

Thank you so much....for your sweet words at my blog.

You blessed me today!

I loved coming here and reading your sweet interview with your son. I don't know if my boys (now teenagers) would know half of this stuff, but who knows they could always surprise me..

Have a blessed day,
